TEST BENCHES FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, VALVES, SOLENOIDS - BG1B

BG1B is an Automatic Test Bench for Automatic Transmission,  valves and solenoids.

 

The apparatus, the result of thirty years of experience in the areas of analog and microprocessor systems and  specific automotive industry problem solving, provides a valuable and extremely flexible tool for the diagnosis and testing of devices used in automotive.

 

Some of its features are unique in the current landscape of the test systems automatic transmissions:

 

  • it drives solenoids up to 7A, with up / down fast current and moldable Waveform

  • it can drive simultaneously up to 12 solenoids, polarity and different Waveform

  • It can read up to 8 pressures, 4 speed sensors (of all types), 2 temperatures, 1 accelerometer

  • It can control an electric motor or combustion engine, to realize a test bench integral

  • Made with a modular construction for easy diagnostics / maintenance

 

BG1B is made of a framework-pulpit and interfaced through connectors to the field.

 

The framework contains a microprocessor controlled main board, onto are lodged  6 DRIVER cards and 1  RPM card; there are also 3 power supplies and all the electromechanical control and protection components.

 

The whole system is managed by an industrial PC with color touch-screen: commands are given by touching the screen, but there is also a keyboard for fast entry of alphanumeric data.

 

The PC also houses a data base with the set-up for various types of automatic transmission available on the market; obviously this part is constantly changing, so are provided periodic updates.

 

Using the PC any detail can be programmed to define the logic and the interface vs. the device to be tested; also the measurement of mechanical and electrical tracking chart (oscilloscope) are allowed, with mass memory storage of the numerical values of each test, including their identification codes for the traceability of any test performed.
