The BG2 control panel  is composed by:

 

• ​1 TSOL1 tester for ON/OFF or PWM solenoids driving  performing voltage, resistance, current absorption control

• 5 3/2 way valves with control lever (pressure regulators 0 -12 bar)

• 5 Pressure gauges 0-12 bar (reading Pressures on glutches groups )

• 1 Gauge 0-6 bar (read OUT Pressures for Solenoid)

• 12V battery and built-in charger

 

BG2 works by means of common compressed air wsystem and specific adapter plates for the various models of gear shift; the adapter plates must be ordered separately.

 

BG2 has been conceived and designed to perform:

 

• Leak test of clutches group in couple

• Test of the response of the solenoids

 

The control plates are mounted after mounting the gearbox  (each equipment has its plates) and via BG2 the air is pumped with adequate pressure.

 

Subsequently, with the aid of a torque wrench, the couple test is performed.

Together with plates kit it is provided a control logic dedicated to the single gearbox tested. This test is of vital importance for safe control of the mechanical and sealing components (pressure losses).

 

With BG2  and the Kit plates the test can be done on the transmission section mounted on the vehicle (by removing the hydraulic unit) by applying torque to the wheels.

Also we can clean the torque converter in a complete way, without having to disassemble the gearbox of the car.
