EM40 is a Genset controller designed to offer the most advanced technology currently available at competitive prices even compared with the best products on the market.

 

To the top features of the previous models of the same series (EM20 / EM30) EM40 in fact adds a graphical LCD 64x128 complete with dedicated buttons and LEDs for a very intuitive operability.

 

EM40 can be powered either 12V or 24V (automatic switching) and continues to operate also with 2.5V battery voltage. It has a wide field programmability, via the Internet too:  user's logo, messaging, languages are customizable.

 

Thanks to the Bluetooth port (optional) this controller can be programmed wirelessly, even from a mobile phone, including the ability to upgrade the operating system via RS232 serial port. The inputs and outputs are fully programmable (active state, delay, effect, message); it has 4 relays on board to direct command: TLR, TLG, EVC, MR.

 

The unit performs complete TRUE RMS analog measurements: power factor, power, active / reactive energy on each phase, residual current, including the response curves modeling of the analog sensors. It is equipped with mini PLC to carry out simple combinatorial functions, effects and programmable messages. The clock / calendar has a separate battery on board; it is also equipped with a 90dB BEEP.

 

EM40 has a great historical memory for the automatic recording of more than 600 events with time / date / measures and has an extensive set of serial ports: RS232, RS485, CAN, Bluetooth (optional); EM40F version is designed for GSM and provides connections and ETHERNET communication protocols: Micropi, MODBUS, SAE J1939 (engine control unit), TCP / IP.

 

The important Oscilloscope feature can display, for example, the battery voltage during its start, the waveform of the load current, the generator voltage during a transient. The control unit has a motor speed input from W, HALL or inductive pickup and can read frequency and mains-genset voltages.

The front panel has IP65 protection degree (sized for EM20 / EM30 previous models) and extended operating temperature range (-25 / + 70 ° C).

 

EM40 provision the possibility of expansion (even in the field) with additional plug-in modules (EM40F Model).

It can provides outputs for AVR and GOVERNOR, for the parallel managing with active / reactive load sharing (see EM40FR Model).

 

EM40 is fully customizable in both graphical and functional way.
