Remote Alarms Module for

Micropi Genset Controller Units

RA16  Model

GENSET CONTROLLERS RA16

The RA16 remote optional module, is designed to meet the need to report on distance the system status and the alarms from genset controller units produced by Micropi Elettronica.

RA16 is equipped with 39 LEDs, 54 terminals and 16 Relay repeating the status of the programmed signal.

The connection between the control unit and remote adapter is made by 2 twisted wires (eg. A twisted pair) with length up to 500 meters.

A serial communication is implemented, which updates the RA16 status every 4 seconds.

All the LEDs are repeated on both sides of the printed circuit; in particular, the "physical" signaliing of a pulse is indicated by the "In" LED, and the "logic" receiving by the RB7 LED RB7.

The LED "LINK" blinks when receiving valid packets: in the absence of valid packets for a minute, RA16 switches to a default state, with all LEDs off and all relay inactive.

It is possible to change the order or the type of signal that is sent from the controller to RA16, via the PC software "RA16Setup" (freely available on request) after connecting the unit to your PC using the supplied cable.

RA16 is available in two versions: RA16G that is only the board without housing (dim. 147 x 133 mm), and RA16B, or in a compact box (dim. 255 x 200 x 97 mm).

The module is compatible with the EM20, EM30 and CG98 Micropi controller units.
